Loose Talk Lyrics

Hey babe, hey baby, hey
I can see that you want to leave me
That you want to leave and get yourself free
Oh, hey babe, I can see
That you want to leave and get yourself free, yeahSha la la la, sha la la la
Sha la la la, sha la la la
Sha la la la, sha la la la, ohLet me tell you about the loose talk, ticking time bomb
Needs a reaction to get my opinion
'Bout living in this town with its distractions
Got you spinning around and around and around and aroundI'm gonna pay for everything
I'm gonna pay for everything that you need
To get out of this town
To get out of this town and back on your feet
I'm gonna pay for everything that you need
To get out of this town and back on your feet, yeahSha la la la, sha la la la
Sha la la la, sha la la la
Sha la la la, sha la la la, ohLet me tell you about the loose talk, ticking time bomb
Needs a reaction to get my opinion

'Bout living in this town with its distractions
Got you spinning around and around and around and around1, 2, 3, 4Sha la la la, sha la la la
Sha la la la, sha la la la
Sha la la la, sha la la la, ohLet me tell you about the loose talk, ticking time bomb
Needs a reaction to get my opinion
'Bout living in this town with its distractions
Got you spinning around and around, babyTell you about our loose talk, ticking time bomb
Needs a reaction to get my opinion
'Bout living in this town with its distractions
Got you spinning around and around, babyTalking about the loose talk, ticking time bomb, baby, yeah
Loose talk, ticking time bomb, baby, yeah
Loose talk, ticking time bomb, baby, yeah
Loose talk, ticking time bomb, baby
Baby, baby, baby, baby, yeah

There’s something strangely familiar, something awfully comforting about the sounds emanating from this room. A jangle here, a shoegaze haze there, and enough hooks to empty a small lake if musical hooks were, indeed, the type used to harvest fish. And what do these songs, reportedly written by The Purrs, have in common? Some would say Galaxie 500 with a little bit of Luna for continuity sake; others, the Verve chased with the Church.
