Lost In the City Lyrics

Take me down to the way back home
I lost all my money now Im all alone
City boys stole my car, city girls stole my heartNow wont you take me down to the way back home?
I lost all my money now Im all alone
City boys stole my car, city girls stole my heartStole my heart, yeahWell I been in trouble since I dont know when
Never got no money to pay my rent
The city life hits hard on me but I gotta keep on tryin
Gotta keep on lying to myselfOne day I will make it
And Ill become a wealthy man
Ill make as much money as I can
And I try so hard, try try try so hardTry so hard, yeahTake me down to the way back home
I lost all my money now Im all alone
City boys stole my car, city girls stole my heartNow wont you take me down to the way back home?
I lost all my money now Im all alone
City girls stole my car, city boys stole my heartYeah yeah yeahIts cold and its rainin
Im not happy at all
As much as I can do what I want, yeah
Alone in the night, I lie back, Im feelin like a wretchI know Ill survive here

Somebody, somebody, somebody
Somebody, somebody, somebody
Im really gonna make it get highTake me down to the way back home
I lost all my money now Im all alone
City boys stole my car, city girls stole my heartTake me down to the way back home
I lost all my money now Im all alone
City boys stole my car, city girls stole my heartStole my heart, yeah

Hanoi Rocks was a Finnish glam rock band formed in 1979, whose most successful period came in the early 1980s. The band broke up in 1985 after their drummer Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley died in a car accident a year earlier. Original members vocalist Michael Monroe and guitarist Andy McCoy reunited in 2001 and were active with the new line-up of Hanoi Rocks until 2009. In the 80s, Hanoi Rocks were the most successful Finnish band internationally and are still popular in the United States, Japan, and the UK.
