BlindººCoyote is the actual musical alter ego of Drem Bruinsma, a Dutch-born tonemaster/producer, who previously was located in the U.S. and in Brussels, but is now working from his studio in southeastern Spain.
BlindººCoyote´s oeuvre has its roots in a blend of post-wave 1980´s electronic music, experimental ambient, lo-fi film soundtracks, idm and downtempo, manipulated and resampled field recordings and prog cross-over, with a non-conformistical approach to analogue and digital production techniques that always add organic feel and fading colours to the overall sound palette.
A first release that came out in 1983, a limited-edition audiocassette (350 copies) titled "Tribute To A Threadbare Bridge", is now about to be re-released. Since the early 1990´s BlindººCoyote has been steadily releasing material, in the form of CD's, 12" vinyl, soundtracks for TV documentaries and dance performances, theatre plays and art installations. From 2010 on most of his publications are in digital format.
