Love, It's Not Working - Red Cloud

Born in Hawthorne California of Mexican & Indian descent, RedCloud knew struggle from a young age. His mother, too young to care for him, left him to be raised by another family. He grew up surrounded by drugs, gangs and violence. Introduced to drugs, violence, and poverty at a young age, RedCloud was involved heavily in gangs by the 7th grade and would be arrested twice before high school. In junior high school, positive role models came into RedCloud’s life. He began to embrace the new ideas and opportunities presented to him, and in 1992 he left a gang that he had been heavily involved in.
