Velvet Tinmine is a glam rock compilation album issued in 2003 on RPM Records. It is a collection of glam rock songs from 1973 - 1977 which failed to make the charts, thus earning this particular collection of music "Junkshop Glam Rock". Musical influences range from standard glam rock stomp to bubblegum pop as well as rock'n'roll. Artists include The Arrows, Fancy, Hello, Flame, Staveley Makepeace, Brett Smiley, and Ricki Wilde, some of whom did have hits in the Top 40 but not with the songs on this album.
