Love Would Be Enough Lyrics

Verse 1
I might not make a lot of money
You drive a beater for a car
But I'm your guy and you're my honey
And we've got some dollars in a jar
Ah Your daddy he knows I'm really good for you
But he says love is not enough for two to make it throughChorus
But we could live up in the forest
Eating oatmeal porridge
While the sun comes up
If I had you and you had me, we'd be happy as could be
We wouldn't need a lot of stuff
Cause we would be in love
And for me that'd be enoughVerse 2
If we had a shotgun wedding
No we really wouldn't care
We'd Park our camper in the meadow
wildflowers all up in your hair

Our love don't care if the stocks all crashed
We'd just build ourselves a cabin with a creek out backChorusBridge
I love pickin you up when were both done work
You look so pretty an I'm covered in dirt
If the sky came down and the grid went black
Just take my hand and never look back no we'd never look backChorus

Dean Brody (born in Jaffray, British Columbia) is a Canadian country music artist. Signed to Broken Bow Records in 2008, Brody made his debut late that year with the single "Brothers". This song, a Top 40 country hit in both Canada and the US, is the first single from his debut album, released in 2009 under the production of Matt Rovey.

Dean Brody was born in Jaffray, British Columbia, Canada.[2] As a boy, Brody worked at a sawmill, also playing guitar in his spare time. By 2004, he had moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue his musical career. Although he found a songwriting contract, the expiration of his US work permit forced him to move back to Canada. Eventually, he returned to Nashville through the suggestion of producer Keith Stegall, who helped him sign with Broken Bow Records in 2008.[2] Brody released his debut single, "Brothers", late that year. Shortly before its release, Brody was injured in a waterskiing accident.[3]
