Love of my Life Lyrics

The love of my life is a shady lady, tearing me up just to bring me down
She used to be calm, but now she's crazy
I don't mind
Tearing me down like a jungle monkey, cutting me up like a jungle catShe used to be fine, but now she's funky
I don't mind
She's not the love of my life anymore
The love of my life takes my lunch to breakfast,
Nary a thought that a man might starveShe used to smoke dope, but now she's X-ing
I don't mind
Tearing me down with a full length mirror,
Praying for death while her beauty fadesShe'll go anywhere any man will lead her
I don't mind
She's not the love of my life anymore
I hurt - you walk

Cowboy Mouth is a rock band based in New Orleans, Louisiana, taking their name from the title of a Sam Shepard play which got the term from a Bob Dylan song. The nucleus of the band, Fred Leblanc (Drums, Vocals) and John Thomas Griffith (Guitar, Vocals), formed in the early 1990s, and they climbed the ladder from an opening act living in a van to a powerhouse live act that has been called "a religious experience" by more than one music journalist. In particular their 2004 live Lincoln Park, Chicago album "Live From the Zoo" received incredible criticial praise, especially form Rolling Stone.
