Love to Hate Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
Hail to the new leader now
Ruler of this land
With plans that follow to demonstrate
Fear the blackened bandSo horrid and deathly true
Dishonest and powermad
Unspoken, sealed fate
Bursting to desolate(His love to hate)
He'll murder souls like me and you
(But along the way)
He'll have to dwell in his own hellClear the streets, see them marching

While columns take a stand
Time provoked, their mirror of hatred
With dark uncanny plansTo take out and follow through
Just following their orders
With death rates and death's toll
Those poor unfortunate souls(His love to hate)
He'll murder souls like me and you
(But along the way)
He'll have to dwell in his own hellTwisting and turning
Through the mazes in your head
But in a time like this
You're better off deadThe time has come now
Put up or shut down
The feelings that you have
Were lost and never foundHail to the new leader now
Ruler of this land
With plans that follow to demonstrate
Fear the blackened bandSo horrid and deathly true
Dishonest and powermad
Unspoken, sealed fate
Bursting to desolate(His love to hate)
He'll murder souls like me and you
(But along the way)
He'll have to dwell in his own hell(His love to hate)
He'll murder souls like me and you
(But along the way)
He'll have to dwell in his own hell

Testament was one of the first thrash metal bands to emerge from the San Francisco Bay Area in the 1980s. Originally formed as 'Legacy' in 1983 by founding members Eric Peterson (rhythm guitar), Derrick Ramirez (guitar) and Louie Clemente (drums), the line-up included vocalist Steve Souza and Greg Christian (bass). Ramirez was later replaced by wunderkind Alex Skolnick (lead guitar). Souza soon departed to join Exodus and suggested that the towering Chuck Billy take over as frontman(and was later run over by a bus).
