Make Me Laugh Lyrics

Spread the word
Through me God is heardYou're making me laugh
Tell me your killin' joke
Evangelist
You're making me laughJesus saves
But only after I've been paidYou're making me laugh
Tell me your killin' joke
Evangelist
End your hoaxGod says, "Have a T.V. show"
God says, "Baby, do some blow"
God says, "Taxes are a sin"
God says, "Pour the money in"Rape the poor, faith no more
Faith for cash, make me laugh
Faith no more, face the whore
Rape your past, make me laughNever, never ever sin
Unless God says to stick it inYou're making me laugh
Tell me your killin' joke
Evangelist

The truth can chokeDefrocked from your seat
Don't shit where you eatYou're making me laugh
Tell me your killin' joke
That God talks to you
There's no hopeGod says, "Have a T.V. show"
God says, "Baby, do some blow"
God says, "Taxes are a sin"
God says, "Pour the money in"Rape the floor, faith no more
Faith for cash, make me laugh
Faith no more, face the whore
Rape your past, make me laughGod says, "Have a swimming pool"
God says, "Keep the doghouse cool"
God says, "Planes and boats and cars"
God says, "Have an amusement park"God says, "Go and masturbate
God says ,"File taxes late"
God says, "Paint your face all sick"
God says, "Be a real prick"God says, "Have a T.V. show"
God says, "Baby, do some blow"
God says, "Taxes are a sin"
God says, "Pour the money in"Rape the floor, faith no more
Faith for cash, make me laugh
Faith no more, face the whore
Rape your past, make me laugh

A great pop-punk-psychedelic outfit from Denver, Colorado. Only the first 45 appears on their album which is recommended. They first formed in 1965 when they specialised in playing beat and R&B and they were a regular attraction at local frat parties. Almost unbelievably they were unearthed by Phil Spector who signed them to a management contract and a giant publicity campaign was planned but never really materialised.
