Make Me Wanna Lyrics

Windows down, country sound, FM on the radio
Just me and you and the man on the moon
Cruisin' down some old back roadNow baby don't you look at me that way
'Cause you know there's only so much I can take
'Cause you make me wannaPull this truck to the side of the road
Slide on over, let me hold you close and tell
You everything I'm thinking
Hop on out and let the tailgate fall
Get drunk on you with no alcohol
If you don't stop I'm gonna
Girl you make me wannaYeah
Hm hmYou know better than to wear that dress
It oughta be against the law, yeah
Plain and simple, girl them dimples
Know just how to turn me onNow baby don't you look at me that way
'Cause you know there's only so much I can take
'Cause you make me wannaPull this truck to the side of the road
Slide on over, let me hold you close and tell

You everything I'm thinking
Hop on out and let the tailgate fall
Get drunk on you with no alcohol
If you don't stop I'm gonna
Girl you make me wannaYou make me wanna
Wake up with you
In the bed of my truck and start
Over again when the sun comes upYou make me wanna
Pull this truck to the side of the road
Slide on over, let me hold you close and tell
You everything I'm thinking
Hop on out and let the tailgate fall
Get drunk on you with no alcohol
If you don't stop I'm gonna
You make me wannaPull this truck to the side of the road
Slide on over, let me hold you close and tell
You everything I'm thinking
Hop on out and let the tailgate fall
Get drunk on you with no alcohol
If you don't stop I'm gonna
Girl you make me wannaYeahWindows down, country sound, FM on the radio

Sweden based Bastards of Funk, or Daniel Sandberg, started his musical career in the early 90’s, with interest in music rooted in both the classical and electronic realm. The interest accelerated when he discovered the sound of artists like French producer and DJ Laurent Garnier, Dave Angel and Carl Cox. Their syncopated, rhythmic music inspired him to pursue the art of producing, and also trying to get the music out to a broader public.

In 1997 he started a weekly radio show, called ‘Deepsessions’ which was the perfect channel to spread electronic music in all shapes and forms, as well as getting ideas for productions of his own. This inevitable led to start Djing at local clubs and also playing music live with hardware gear, another of his passions.

Today, however, the studio is extremely small consisting of a computer and a controller, hence the name Bastards of Funk was taken to at least give the machines some credit.

Daniel has previously, including being a member of the renowned Swedish deep/vocal house-duo Phunky Drakes, released numerous tracks on labels such as Eloge Rec., Groover Rec., Real Estate Rec., Frosty Music Rec. and worked with people like Hkan Lidbo, Martin Venetjoki, Professional Losers and Sonic Union to name a few.

His releases have led to appearances on both the Swedish radio and television with two animated videos aired on MTV, as well as playing live on two of the largest festivals in Sweden, Hultsfred and Arvika, numerous times. The DJ/live sets has taken him to play on the same stages such as Eddie Amador, Cevin Fisher, Terra Deva, DJ Kiddo, Rulers of The Deep, Aril Brikha and Jesper Dahlback just to name a few.

The productions from Bastards of Funk has been described as a blend of deep/progressive driving beats, with a touch of funky bass lines injected with smooth bits of chords and vocals. Now together with Ike from Sonic Union, the diversity in the productions has gone even further, bringing true electro funkiness to the releases. Read more on Last.fm.
