Man Kills Mankind Lyrics

Long before the curtain call
The dregs they had been cast
Many screams and twisted dreams
Flames lead to the throneWinds of change, keeps you searching for the truth
Sea of rage, slowly drowning wasted youthSome people live to lie
Some people don't
Some people turn there Cheek, while others hate!Don't ask why...The broken world spins too slow, bitterness tasts sweet
Many paths, invoking wrath
The wolfs have stole the crownWinds of change, keeps you searching for the truth
Sea of rage, slowly drowning wasted youthMan kills mankind
Feeding the greed of the overfed swine
Man kills mankind
Again and again you choke on the vine
Man kills mankind
Feeding the greed of the overfed swine
Man kills mankind
Again and again you choke on the vine
Overfed swine you keep choking and choking...Some people live to lie

Some people don't
Some people are born to die
Some people won't
Some people are well-to-do
Some people ain't
Some people turn there Cheek, while others hate!Don't ask why...Man kills mankind
Feeding the greed of the overfed swine
Man kills mankind
Again and again you choke on the vine
Man kills mankind
Feeding the greed of the overfed swine
Man kills mankind
Again and again you choke on the vine
Man kills mankindAgain and again you choke on the vine, overfed swine,
You keep choking and choking...

Testament was one of the first thrash metal bands to emerge from the San Francisco Bay Area in the 1980s. Originally formed as 'Legacy' in 1983 by founding members Eric Peterson (rhythm guitar), Derrick Ramirez (guitar) and Louie Clemente (drums), the line-up included vocalist Steve Souza and Greg Christian (bass). Ramirez was later replaced by wunderkind Alex Skolnick (lead guitar). Souza soon departed to join Exodus and suggested that the towering Chuck Billy take over as frontman(and was later run over by a bus).
