Man Should Surrender Lyrics

You engineer the stratosphere
You command this hemisphere
But water will still come
Man should surrenderRearrange forms of life
Battle night with your lights
But water will still come
Man should surrenderFlying boxes through the air
Dropping cities everywhere
But water will still come
Man should surrenderFire made for all to burn
Foolish end for all concerned
But water will still come
Man should surrender, surrender now

Pailhead is a collaboration between Ian MacKaye (Minor Threat, Teen Idles, Fugazi, Embrace, etc.) and Ministry. The combo debuted in 1987 with the "I Will Refuse"/"No Bunny" 7", and followed that with the Trait EP in 1988. (The Trait CD included both releases.) The music is fairly typical of Ministry circa The Land of Rape and Honey, over which MacKaye shouts his politically-inclined lyrics.
