Coffee makes friends. That is when nigel simpson prepared coffee for phil manzanera of roxy music in a small north london deli. They got talking about music. A few cappacinos later phil invited nigel to play piano on his 2004 album ‘6pm’ and then again on his 2005 album ‘50 minutes later’. Encouraged by Phil to write more songs nigel has been working in Gallery with Jamie Johnston and Mark MacCarthy.
