Maracatu Bianco - Samba Laranja

Samba Laranja is the Syracuse University Brazilian Ensemble and is led by Dr. Elisa Macedo Dekaney and Joshua Dekaney. The group has been going strong since 2001 and started with 5 members. We currently have 55 registered undergraduate and graduate students from a variety of areas of study at Syracuse University and SUNY-Evironmental Science & Foresty. Samba Laranja has performed for over 10,000 central New York public school students and performed in Syracuse, Central New York, Boston, New York City, and Bethesday, Maryland.
