Marquee Lyrics

If this city, don't kill me
It's gonna bleed my spirit dry
Every diamond. from the sidewalk
Is fighting for it's time to shineWell, I'm back, I'm back
I'm back, back on my feet againOh God, I miss the country
There those nights will never end
Still see them in my dreaming'
From the back seat of my vanWell, I'm back, I'm back
I'm back, back on my feet againAll my days, are growing dimmer
Shadows, are getting' long
There's blood stuck under my finger nails
From singin', carryin' onWell, I'm back, I'm back
I'm back, back on my feet againBack up on marquee
Just where I belong
One day close to death
Don't sing with my last dying breathWell, I'm back, I'm back
I'm back, back on my feet again

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

Chalk it up to the warm weather and cheap drugs or blame it on Buffalo Springfield, but L.A. grinds out its share of guitar-toting folkies. Recalling L.A.'s early folk days, former Colour guitarist and songwriter Luke MacMaster's Romany Rye has picked up what his Laurel canyon counterparts left behind and wandered down a dusty new path. This album is an eight-chapter narrative of despair, love and everything in between, and it's as compelling as old time religion.
