ncr is the long-term project of Martin Dixon. Martin started out around 1995 doing dodgy industrial-ish stuff using a program called Quartet on an Atari 1040STE. His dream was one day to progress to the dizzy heights of doing some proper METAL, but over time he realised this was a shit idea and fell into the arms of bleepy electronica weirdness, and he has hung around that area ever since. Following brief periods of prolific creativeness while at university, Martin got mired in massive sawmps of "writer's block".
