Messin' With The Kid Lyrics

What's this a-here goin' all around town
The people they say
they're gonna put the kid down
Well hold on, oh look at what you did
You can call it what you want to,
But I call it messin' with the kidAnd anything you want, don'cha just see?
They put the kid by the time he get paid
Well oh no, oh look at what you did
You can call it what you want to,
But I call it messin' with the kidYou spend my money like it come as a gift
I work for my money before the 8 hour shift?
Well oh no, oh look at what you did
You can call it what you want to,
But I call it messin' with the kidYou know the kid's no child, no, he don't play
He says what he means and he mean what he say
Oh yeah, oh look at what you did
You can call it what you want to,
But I call it messin' with the kidWe're gonna take the kid's car

and drive around town
And tell everybody you're not puttin' him down
Oh Lord, oh look at what you did
You can call it what you want to,
But I call it messin' with the kid!
