Mexican Moon Lyrics

Oh, amigo
Here we do things slow
Money, art, a broken heart
Where did you want to go?Senor, por favor
To the hotel Zona Rosa
What did I come here for?Oh senor, I run
But the damage has been done
Miles have gone away
And my amore, he never comeI look up at the sky
I am tired and dry
Uno tecate and limeThinking of you
Underneath the Mexican moonlight
Thinking of you
Underneath the Mexican moonSenor, you are wise
I can see a million years
A million tears behind your eyesTake me home
Take me to the Zona Rosa
Mariachis and tequila

I will dance the night aloneJust some time
Just a little kiss of mine
Take me where I can forget
Senor, you are so very kindI look up at the sky
I am tired and dry
Dos tecate and limeThinking of you
Underneath the Mexican moonlight
Thinking of you
Underneath the Mexican moonThinking of you
Underneath the Mexican moonlight
Thinking of you
Underneath the Mexican moonI look up at the sky
I will try not to cry
Tres tecate and limeThinking of you
Underneath the Mexican moonlight
Thinking of you
Underneath the Mexican moonThinking of you
Underneath the Mexican moonlight
Thinking of you
Underneath the Mexican moonThinking of you
Underneath the Mexican moonlight
Thinking of you
Underneath the Mexican moon

DFX2 was a San Diego, California based band in the 1980s. Led by twin brothers Douglas Farage (vocals and rhythm guitar) and David Farage (lead guitar and vocals), the band’s name was derived from their initials: D.F. times two (x 2). The band's other members were Frank Hailey (drums) and Eric Gotthelf (bass) (who replaced Matthew Pray after the release of their first EP, "Where Are They Now"). Though marketed as a New Wave band, DFX2 was heavily influenced by the sound of the Rolling Stones.
