Mezzanine Lyrics

I'm a little curious of you in crowded scenes
And how serene your friends and fiends
We flew and strolled as two eliminated gently
Why don't you close your eyes and reinvent meYou knew you got a heart made of stone
You should have let me know
You could have let me knowWe'll go 'till morning comes
And traffic grows
And windows humSpending all week with your friends
Give me evenings and weekends
Evenings and weekendsI could be yours
We can unwind
All these other flaws
All these other flawsYou'd agree it's a typical high
You fly as you watch your name go by
And once the name goes by
Not thicker than water, nor thicker than mud
And the eight k thuds it does
[Incomprehensible]Sunset so thickly

Let's make it quiet and quickly
Don't frown
Taste better on the way back downI could be yours
We can unwind
All these other flaws
All these other flaws
All these other flaws
Will lead to mineWe are vi vicious
It's easy now, seeStick me down
Stick me downWe can unwind
[Inaudible]
All these other flaws
All these other flaws
Will lead to mine
Will see toAll these other flaws
All these other flaws
Will see toAll these other flaws
Will lead to mine
We can unwind all our flaws
We can unwind all our flaws
We can unwind all our flaws

Mezzanine is an indie rock band from Perth, Western Australia.

Channeling the ghost of a time when rock was straight up and actually meant something, Mezzanine have an attitude that pretension dares not fondle. They energise and humanise the Perth music landscape with power chords and passion, drawing teeth from the likes of Thurston Moore, Anton Newcombe and Stephen Morrissey. A self professed loud and energetic combo, they play each show like it's the last 30 minutes of their lives. They put pen to Pro Tools in February 2011, emerging with their first Extended Player, Novella.
