La Fiebre are from Pasadena , Texas near Houston. They have been known as "The Bad Boys from Pasadena" and have reportedly reformed to entertain fans of Tejano Music. They formed in 1986 without a name, finally deciding on "La Fiebre" which translates to "The Fever" in English.
after releasing multiple albums and ever-gaining popularity, the group received a Grammy nomination in 1998 for their live album release titled "Fiebre Live en Concierto" which was recorded at Freddy Fest in Corpus Christi and San Antonio.
