Midnight Train Lyrics

Take the kids, your heart, twenty dollars from your pocketbook
Take a plane, a car and don't worry 'bout how you look
'Cause I don't care, I see more than physical
I am here waiting on you, you're beautiful
Get on that midnight train to Georgia
And I'll be there with open arms waiting on ya, waiting for you
Yes, on that midnight train to Georgia
And I'll be there with arms open wide waiting for ya
Take a bag, a lunch and CD of your favorite song
Take a change for once, you know you've been waiting so long
I don't care what you look like in the physical
'Cause it's your heart and to me that makes you beautiful
So get on that midnight, on that midnight train to Georgia
I'll be there with open arms waiting for ya
On that midnight train to Georgia
I'll be there with open arms, I'll be waiting for ya if you need me

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

The Belfast Gypsies were a direct spin-off of Them, featuring two members who had been in Them for differing spells in the mid-'60s: singer/organist/multi-instrumentalist Jackie McAuley and his brother, drummer Pat McAuley (sometimes also known as John McAuley). With a style very similar to early Them, the Gypsies hooked up with Kim Fowley on one of his London visits in mid-'66. Fowley produced most of the material that ended up on their sole LP (preceded by a couple of unsuccessful singles), which was issued in Scandinavia in August, 1967.
