Milk Cow Blues Lyrics

A whaling time from those fabulous characters, The KinksWell, I've tried everything to get along with you
But I'm gonna tell you what I'm gonna do
I'm sick of all your crying, won't you leave you alone?
If you don't believe I'm going, you can count the days I'm goneI'm gonna leave
Gonna leave your lovin' baby, oh some day
Oh boy, you're gonna be sorry
For you treated me this wayWon't you please, well, that sun looks good going down
Won't you please, that sun looks good going down
Yeah, that ol' moon look lonesome when my baby's not around
AlrightOh please, don't that sun look good going down
Oh please, don't that sun look good going down
But ol' moon look lonesome when your baby's not around

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

John Adam Estes (born in Ripley, Lauderdale County, Tennessee, January 25, 1899 — Brownsville, Haywood County, Tennessee, June 5, 1977) best known as Sleepy John Estes or Sleepy John, was a blues guitarist, songwriter and vocalist. In 1915, Estes' father, a sharecropper who also played some guitar, moved the family to Brownsville, Tennessee. Not long after, Estes lost the sight of his right eye when a friend threw a rock at him during a baseball game. At the age of 19, while working as a field hand, he began to perform professionally.
