Hailing from Union City, California, Zephyr Riot is a new band trying to become known throughout Southern California. Formed in 2003 under the name One Armed Bandit by guitarist Sorin Chereji and drummer Paul Espinoza, this band fuses an eclectic mix of sounds to give you Zephyr Riot. They bring with them a mixed style of classic and progressive rock fused with acoustic, groovy tones which are credited to the music that influenced them. Such music includes Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Alice In Chains, Rush, Steely Dan, Queen, The Doors, Metallica, David Bowie, etc etc the list goes on. In 2009, the band acquired a bass/saxophone player, which allowed them to start doing shows in Southern California in an attempt to make a name for themselves.
