Missing You Lyrics

I found myself this morning
But I didn't like the way that I was feeling
It's like I'm in a film
But I spend most of my time looking at the ceilingAnd I can't get over yesterday
How the trouble started, I was thinking
Well, I wouldn't have gone overboard
If someone would have told me, I'd start sinkingYou came into my life
Took my heart and then you went away
Now I'm missing you already
I wish it was tomorrow, yesterdayAnd I'm missing you
Missing you
Missing you
Yeah, I'm missing youSome people find their trouble is in letting go
But you and I are different
It's hard to turn an argument
Into some kind of international incidentBut you've told me twenty times before
You'd leave me
But I chose to play ignorantSo you took my life apart

Now it feels my world has gone astray
And I'm missing you already
I wish it was tomorrow, yesterdayAnd I'm missing you
Missing you
Missing you
Girl, I'm missing youYou came into my life took my heart and then you went away
Thought that you would make your point
And then you'd come right back to me todayBut suddenly it's dawned on me
On my own is how I'm gonna stay
And I'm missing you already
I wish it was tomorrow yesterdayAnd I'm missing you
Missing you
I'm missing you
Missing youYeah, I'm missing you
Missing you
Yeah, I'm missing you
Missing youDon't you know I'm missing you?
Missing you
Yeah, I'm missing you
Missing youOh, girl, don't you know I'm missing you?
Missing you

Originally a quartet whose sound drew inspiration from psychedelia, the Beloved found its greatest success as a rave-influenced dance-pop duo. Throughout its fluid existence, the guiding force behind the group remained vocalist Jon Marsh, who formed the band Journey Through inCambridge, UK with Steve Waddington and Tim Havard; with the addition of Guy Gausden (November 1984), the group renamed itself the Beloved, and gradually evolved into a moody dance outfit not dissimilar to New Order.
