Gail's rich, warm vocals and understated phrasing inspire comparisons to Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughn and Carmen McRae and have been described as "deliciously soulful" by Cadence Magazine. Gail inherited a passion for jazz from her family while growing up in Gary, Indiana.
