Y.B is a duo from Enschede, the Netherlands. A duo with two different backgrounds. Those two backgrounds came together in 2012....

The first half of Y.B. is Yoeri. As a youngster he started breakdancing at the age of 15. Throughout his years as bboy he got in touch with underground hiphop and a lot of old funk & soul breaks. In the year 2009 he started experimenting with music production.
In 2011 he did some solo releases: Andromeda EP, Random Chocolate.
His solo releases where more hiphop related. His own spectrum range started getting wider and he got inspired by electronic music. From there on he started creating more uptempo beats. That is when he met Bas, the other half of Y.B.

The second half of Y.B is Bas. Bas comes from a more electronical background. In 2009 he produced electronic music with heavy bass sounds. In 2011 he reinvented himself with a new sound. He developed a new deeper feel within his music. To show the world his change, he dropped a solo EP under the name of Young Hand: Two different times.

The two producers decided to bundle their forces for an ultimate moksha (enlightenment) experience!
