Mr. Duracell Lyrics

Ohh, oh
I went on a blind date last Friday night, yeah
I got my hair done, my nails done, I was looking fly
And when we sat down to have a meal
I could barely believe what my eyes were seeing was real
Apparently his mama never taught him how to chew his food
Or that ticking his teeth at the table was really rude
Went home and try to think of someone I could call
Oh yeah, I know... good, though reliable
Mr. Duracell, yeah
[ah-ah-ahhh]
Every now and then, you'll do it just swell, yeah
It's a job for Mr. Duracell, yeah
[ah-ah-ahhh]
Every now and then, you'll do just swell, yeah
And I know he'll never tell

Yo, when my man is tripping, yeah [ohh, oh]
And the channels he keeps on switching, switching
[sigh] Baby, that was that episode where Keri breaks up with Aden
I mean, I was watching [ohh, oh-oh-oh]
But it's like he's not even listening, no
Mm-mm-mmm, sit around all day in front of that Playstation
Making love with Charmadam King pure magic
Oh, but what he don't know is
I got that Playstation of my own
And he goes by Mr. Duracell, yeah
[ah-ah-ahh]
Every now and then, you'll do it just swell
It's a job for Mr. Duracell, yeah
[ah-ah-ahhh]
Every now and then, you'll do just swell, yeah
And I know he'll never tell
Now this is not meant to put the brothers down and make them feel left out, no
It's just a friendly reminder to treat your sisters a little kinder
'Cause even though Mr. Duracell may be comforting
Then it all refers to real, real value things
Then it refers the real things
Brothers, won't you love us right
Brothers, brothers, love, love us right, yeah
Won't you love us right, love
{guitar solo}
Brothers, if you just love us right
Brothers, love us right
Brothers, if you just love us right
Brothers, love us right
Brothers, if you just love us right
Brothers, love us right
Brothers, if you just love us right
Brothers, love us right
Love, love us right, yeah
Going, going, going, going, going, going on
Going, going, going, going, going, going on
Going, going, going, going, going, going on
Going, going, going, going... going... going... gone....
