My Last Broken Heart Lyrics

Baby this ain't the first time
That I've played this game and lost
I don't mean to sound that mean
If that's how this comes acrossIt hurts to watch you go
But there's something you should knowYou ain't my last broken heart
It ain't the first time it's been tore apart
You may think you're making a permanent scar
But you ain't my last broken heart
It might knock me down for now
But somewhere down the line
I'll pick up the pieces
And give someone else a tryNo need to worry about me
It might take a little time but you'll seeYeah you'll seeYou ain't my last broken heart
It ain't the first time it's been tore apart
You may think you're making a permanent scar
But you ain't my last broken heartAw break it honey
You ain't my last broken heart
It ain't the first time it's been tore apart

You may think you're making a permanent scar
But you ain't my last broken heartYou may think you're making a permanent scar
But you ain't my last broken heart

Dean Brody (born in Jaffray, British Columbia) is a Canadian country music artist. Signed to Broken Bow Records in 2008, Brody made his debut late that year with the single "Brothers". This song, a Top 40 country hit in both Canada and the US, is the first single from his debut album, released in 2009 under the production of Matt Rovey.

Dean Brody was born in Jaffray, British Columbia, Canada.[2] As a boy, Brody worked at a sawmill, also playing guitar in his spare time. By 2004, he had moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue his musical career. Although he found a songwriting contract, the expiration of his US work permit forced him to move back to Canada. Eventually, he returned to Nashville through the suggestion of producer Keith Stegall, who helped him sign with Broken Bow Records in 2008.[2] Brody released his debut single, "Brothers", late that year. Shortly before its release, Brody was injured in a waterskiing accident.[3]
