My Own Way to Rock Lyrics

Revin' up my engine like a seven forty seven
I'm a shiny lanky long and lean and I'm lean
Revin' up my engine, baby, like a seven forty seven
I'm a shiny lanky long and lean, what a sceneI'm gonna take my silver dollar, change it into quarter
Shove 'em in the record machineBaby, said she loved me but then she went and left me
Causing such an awful scene, what a scene
Baby, said she needed me, you know the danger went and left me
Causing such an awful scene, what a sceneTakin' my silver dollar, cheated in the corner
Shove 'em in the record machine, yes'Cause I got my own way to rock, I got my own way to roll
And when you're walkin' that walk it's good for your soulYou know I'm singin' about
My own way to rock, I got my own way to roll
And when you're walkin' that walk it's good for your soulOne, two, three, fourRevin' up my engine, baby, like a seven forty seven
I'm a shiny lanky long and lean, what a scene, hey
Revin' up my engine, baby, like a seven forty seven
I'm a shiny lanky long and lean, what a sceneTakin' my silver dollar, cheated in the corner
It's gonna shove 'em in the record machine'Cause I got my own way to rock, I got my own way to roll
And when you're walkin' that walk it's good for your soulHand me another dollar, mama
Own way to rock, I got my own way to roll

And when you're walkin' that walk it's good for your soulBe bop a-loola, babe, wake up little Susie
Yes indeed I'm in love again
Come on over, I got a whole lot of shaking
Well I like it like that, yoAlright, alright, alright, alright, alright, alright, alright
