Never Be the Same Lyrics

Well, she came around
I saw it in her face
Another time, another place
Is what she wantedSo, she let me go
So she could face this world alone
To find out where she belongs
She said, "I'm sorry"Because I didn't know
What should have happened
Yeah, I didn't know
That I had a chance to sayPlease don't go away
'Cause I will never be the same
I will never be the samePlease don't go away
'Cause I will never be the same
I will never be the same without youWell, She came around
About a year after she was gone
I was passed out in her yard
I couldn't live without herJust when I thought
I'd taken more than I could stand

Well, she took me by the hand
And she said, "I'm sorry"Because I didn't know
What should have happened
And I didn't know she was gonna sayPlease don't go away
'Cause I will never be the same
I will never be the samePlease don't go away
'Cause I will never be the same
I will never be the same without you, without youWell, she came around
I saw it in her face
Another time, another place
Is what she wantedPlease don't go away
'Cause I will never be the same
I will never be the samePlease don't go away
'Cause I will never be the same
I will never be the same without you, without you
Without you, without you

Socialburn originated in the mid-'90s around high-school pals Neil Alday (vocals/guitar), Dusty Price (bass), and Brandon Bittner (drums). After forming on the fly in their tiny central Florida hometown, the group expanded into the scene in nearby Tallahassee. Listeners took a liking to their straightforward post-grunge growl, and Socialburn was soon a hit at local radio. By 2000, guitarist Chris Cobb had been added and a self-released CD had dropped. SB branched out with gigs in Jacksonville and Orlando, hoping to generate label interest in an area already buzzing with the success of Creed.
