Irena Jarocka (1946 – 2012), was a popular Polish singer. Graduated from V Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Stefana Żeromskiego and the faculty of music studies at Średnia Szkoła Muzyczna in Gdańsk under professor Halina Mickiewiczówna. Following that, she also graduated from the faculty of biology in teachers’ college. She participated in amateur singing competitions, worked with Zespół Estradowy Marynarki Wojennej Flotylla. Debuted in 1966 at the age of 20, in Klub Rudy Kot in Gdańsk, the same year she first participated in KFPP in Opole. Performed at MFP in Sopot many times.
