Violet Masks is a solo music project based out of Long Island, New York. It used to be under the title "Cygnus Vade," but was recently changed. There is still a Cygnus Vade last.fm page, but it is obsolete and all the music under that name is now under Violet Masks. Violet Masks' genre blends experimental, ambient, industrial, electronica, psychedelic, noise and avant-garde. Starting in the early 2000s, over 20 albums have been recorded and released since then.
