No One Knows Lyrics

It's been one of those days when the sky falls down
And the world around me comes crumbling down
I'm picking up the pieces of the life that she left behind
I've got a million of her lies swimming in my head
And a million reasons why I wish we never met
'Cause everyone believed our love was true
And didn't see the pain that I went through
No one knows
She crushed my heart, she broke it with a hammer
No one knows
All the things, I've done to try to understand her
No one knows
I've died a thousand deaths ever since she left me there
Yeah she left me there, 'cause she didn't care
I've been stuck here in my room going crazy by myself
And I'm setting fire to your pictures on the shelf
I know, I should have thrown them all out a long time ago
Well I've never been a man that lives with regret

I forget to live and I live to forget
How everyone believed our love was true
And didn't see the pain that I went through
No one knows
She crushed my heart, she broke it with a hammer
No one knows
All the things, I've done to try to understand her
No one knows
I've died a thousand deaths ever since she left me there
Everybody thought that we were doing fine
But deep inside we were doing time
And in the end she ran off with my soul
Sometimes it's hard to say good-bye
I gave her everything, she took my pride
And now I don't know where I'm gonna go
No one knows
Crush my heart, she broke it with a hammer yeah
No one knows
I've died a thousand deaths ever since she left me there
No one knows
Crush my heart, she broke it with a hammer
No one knows
All the things, I've done to try to understand her
No one knows
I've died a thousand deaths ever since she left me there

Dion & the Belmonts were a leading American vocal group of the late 1950s. The group formed when Dion DiMucci joined The Belmonts - Carlo Mastrangelo, Fred Milano (August 22, 1939 - January 1, 2012), and Angelo D'Aleo - in late 1957. After an unsuccessful first single, the group were signed to Laurie Records. Their breakthrough came when "I Wonder Why" made # 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and the group appeared for the first time on the Dick Clark TV show. They followed it with the ballads "No One Knows" (#19) and "Don't Pity Me" (#40).
