No One To Share The Blame Lyrics

I can count a hundred reasons why
But ninety-nine would still be shy
Of a good excuse for why you're gone
The truth will burn you when you know you're wrong
It's hard to face what you regret so holdin' on was better than
Livin' life and losin' you
I guess, a liar can't escape the truth
So why was I so surprised?
That you found a way to finally get on with your life
And trade the lows for the highs you deserve
I'm all alone with things I can't change, yeah change
And no one to share the blame
I'm tired of feelin' sorry for myself of payin' rent in this livin' hell
I guess it is time I started facin' facts
Chances are you are never comin' back
What gives me the right to keep up this fight
You found a way to finally get on with your life

Trade the lows for the highs you deserve
I'm all alone with things I can't change
And no one to share the blame for your pain
For the cost of your cryin'
Can't undo what I did
There is no use denyin'
So why was I so surprised
That you found a way to finally get on with your life
Trade the lows for the highs you deserve
I'm all alone with things I can't change, yeah change
And no one to share
And no one to share the blame
I can count a hundred reasons why

From the beginning, Josh Gracin has distinguished himself by walking to his own drumbeat. He first entered America’s homes as one of the most charismatic and distinctive performers in the second season of American Idol, the first to bring country music to the pop-oriented hit show. Still, Gracin earned his record deal the old-fashioned way. He stood in the offices of Disney’s Lyric Street Records in Nashville and, in front of a room of record executives, performed solo. An offer for a recording contract immediately followed.
