Gracia Montes is the stage name of Gracia Cabrera Gómez ( Lora del Rio , Sevilla , March 1 of 1936 ), singer of Spanish song

Her first theatrical debut was in 1953 with the show "The couplet by flag" in Madrid . Without delay, thanks to its privileged voice, was presented at only 17 years old, the Galas Youth was performed each morning Sunday in Seville's Teatro Cervantes, where the audience applauded and admired their burgeoning artistic qualities, joining soon to shows several companies, such as the singer Pepe Pinto and Pastora Pavón and the variety of Mercedes Vecinos and The Gaditanos. Pastora Pavón was a woman who always admired Gracia Montes, one of her idols with Fernanda de Utrera and Bernarda de Utrera . Pastora, the undisputed master of cante hondo, was the first artist Gracia heard. For this reason, some critics of the time said that the speed of her voice reminded the greatest singer born in Alameda de Hercules and the ailment flamenco tweak that so characterized her iconic discography.
In the mid fifties , Gracia Montes makes her first recording with the Columbia label. It was a double-sided disc, the so-called 'slate'.
