Far From Tellus is a Norwegian krautfolk band formed in 2005 by members from several of Oslo's most colourful and idealistic underground bands (Izakaya Heartbeat, Freeshine, Radio 9, Revolium and Laconic Zero). The sound of Far From Tellus may be perceived as a melodic, uncompromising and energetic onslaught where elements of kraut, folk, punk, blues, bluegrass, dream pop, psychedelia and British Invasion melt together into a unique and magic hybrid.
