Not a Color Lyrics

Hey brother, the sky is fallin'
Hey brother, it all comes down
Soul searchin' amongst the ashes
There must be some way out of this old townSin sister, don't curse your neighbor
No, tellin' she might be you
(When?)
Sin-sister you're not the only
Lonely girl who's left with nothin' to loseSaw my future in yesterday
Someone told me it won't be long
Turned my future in yesterday
Think it's time that we move onLove's not a color
What, does it matter to you?
Love's not a color
What would ya do if I were you, would ya do it?Hey brother, your streets are burnin'
Loose talkin' and the work's all gone
Say brother, we best be learnin'
Don't make it right doin' somebody wrongSoul sister, I feel your sadness
Soul sister, it hurts me too

Soul sister, I can't stop thinkin'
We got to make some peace between me and youHeaven knows not an easy thing
It's not somethin' we laugh about
Heaven knows not an easy thing
Take my hand got to hold onLove's not a color
What, does it matter to you?
Love's not a color
What would ya do if I were you, would ya do it?Not a color
What, does it matter to you?
Love's not a colorOpen your eyes to the sky and the mountains
Learn how to fly, I can take you anywhere
Lift your voice through the sounds of silence
Yea, yea, yeaNot a color
Does it matter to you?
Not a color
Does it matter to you?

Billy Squier (born May 12, 1950, in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts) is a rock musician. Squier had a string of arena rock and power ballad hits in the 1980s. He is probably best known for the song "The Stroke" on his 1981 album release Don't Say No, which has been certified as Triple-Platinum by the RIAA. Other hits include "Lonely Is The Night", "Everybody Wants You", "Rock Me Tonite" and "In The Dark". Squier left the music industry in the mid-1990s, due in part to issues with his label. He has been active in the 2000s, touring both as a single artist and as a member of the 'Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band'. Before fronting the band titled in his name, Squire was the frontman of the power pop group Piper.
