Novocaine Lyrics

Dream a picture
Of how you see me, yeah
Pinch yourself and I'm thereMouth the words
To the song you hear
Listen closely, my dear
It's like we're almost thereJust a pinch of Novocaine
If you won't be
The one to ease my pain
Just say my name
Sweet, sweet NovocainePut your faith in a show
Everyone is waiting for you there
I can hardly see anythingCatch the world by it's tongue
Few more words
And I'll be done, yeah
But will I ever really be?Just a pinch of Novocaine
If you won't be
The one to ease my pain
Just say my name

Sweet, sweet NovocaineWake me, take me anywhere
That I don't have to be
You don't have to say my name
I don't have to be meJust a pinch of Novocaine
If you won't be
The one to ease my pain
Just say my name
Sweet, sweet NovocaineIf you won't be
The one to ease my pain
Just say my name
Sweet, sweet NovocaineCall the extras to the set
And turn the lights up
Oh oh oh oh
Aren't we finished yet?
I'm finishedCall the extras to the set
And turn the lights up
Oh oh oh oh
Aren't we finished yet?
I'm finished

Spitalfield was an alternative rock band based in Glen Ellyn, Chicago and signed to the Victory Records label. Formed in 1998, Spitalfield caught the attention of Victory Records with the 2002 release of The Cloak and Dagger Club EP and a year later released fan-favorite Remember Right Now. Spitalfield also released an album titled Stop Doing Bad Things in 2005 which featured songs like "Gold Dust V. The State Of Illinois" and "So I heard You Joined a Convent". The band's name comes from what members describe as a village where Jack the Ripper came from.
