Toninho Pinheiro Formed in 1965 by competent musicians of the bossa nova and early-Brazilian jazz period, the Jongo Trio performed shows in the reputed bossa venues Teatro de Arena, Teatro Paramount, and Cave nightclub, as well as performing on the TV show O Fino da Bossa show.
