Of Mire and Filth - Ash and Coal

The prime members of Ash and coal, Viktor Klint and Adrian Hornquist have been playing music together on and off since the early 90's. Exploring the extreme and dark music within the metal, rock, hardcore and punk genres. Mostly focusing on the two first ones. Different people and different bands have come and go and now it's time to take the legacy to the next level.

The main goal for the band is to play some kind of dark deathblues metal hybrid. But beware, it will be some twists on the road ahead. You will hear a clear pattern in the music. The simple riff and the feeling in the guts will be the guiding star.

The debut recording session have been sent out to magazines, friends, promotion and labels, containing nine songs of deathridden, bluesdriven metallic rock. It can be downloaded here.
