Drawing their name and their found-object aesthetic from Duchamp and their love of sonic juxtaposition from the Space Age Pop movement of 1960s (not to mention the cut-up artists of more recent years), Bachelor Machines destroy recognizable sounds and restructures them into a comforting sonic world where computers talk, robot waitresses serve ice-cold cocktails, and messages from the home office are sent via pneumatic tube.
