Once Without Lyrics

Our fathered fears, begotten here,
Embraced in form of chivalry
Now lace our hearts to our sword
For our fears we live
For our fears we fight
For our fears we dieBut maybe once, with this, we could live without (fear)
And with no need for closure, what could stop us?
Start this over, your thought, without cowering doubt
Start this over, needless closure leave it aside nowA pool of tears collecting here,
Stronghold, stronghold of frailty
Now greets, now greets you as you wakeSilence will remain apart few
A part of all
Whispers deliver
But do not bring deliveranceBut maybe once without
Once without fear
We could start this over
Start over

With an intense sound that punishes unmercifully, yet rewards with captivating harmony, the quintet known as Rest Among Ruins offers a rich, encompassing style to the Baltimore music scene. Formed in 2006, Rest Among Ruins advanced from an idea to a body of musicians, comprised of vocalist/songwriter, Mike Semesky; guitarist/backup vocalist, Derrin Ruschell; lead guitarist, Henry Kaldre; bass guitarist, Jason Goldman-Petri; and drummer, Geoff Palmer. The unique style, most easily defined as an aggressive, metal/alternative sound, is an evolving product of diverse musical influences.
