One Good Woman Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
I been a traveler for more than too few years
I learned my lessons, I stilled my fears
My sole possessions, they steer me through it all
Sweet dreams and innocence, they cushion my fallsFeel the passion run you blind
See the vision dancin' in my mindOne good woman, who's all of what she seems
One good woman to share my dreams
One good woman put all the games aside
One good woman make the most of our livesWe live a life of fact and fantasy
We alter circumstance to fit our needs
We gain in fortune, but we lose in time

One door will open and one will close behindFind the loner from the pack
Storm the mansions, I ain't never turnin' backOne good woman, she's all I hope to find
One good woman, think of me in kind
One good woman, she won't get me down
One good woman, turn my head aroundKeepin' her distance, but oh she don't let go
One good woman, she makes it so
Over the air-waves or across the sea
One good woman, she's more than enough for me

Billy Squier (born May 12, 1950, in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts) is a rock musician. Squier had a string of arena rock and power ballad hits in the 1980s. He is probably best known for the song "The Stroke" on his 1981 album release Don't Say No, which has been certified as Triple-Platinum by the RIAA. Other hits include "Lonely Is The Night", "Everybody Wants You", "Rock Me Tonite" and "In The Dark". Squier left the music industry in the mid-1990s, due in part to issues with his label. He has been active in the 2000s, touring both as a single artist and as a member of the 'Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band'. Before fronting the band titled in his name, Squire was the frontman of the power pop group Piper.
