One Lyrics

[Verse 1 - Christina Milian]
I'm listenin' wonderin' whats really goin' on
3 years, these tears, no longer wanna fall
Now we're talkin' 'bout the possibility of
Breakin' up and actin' like we never were in love
Everybody makes mistakes
'cause we go our separate ways
It'll never be the same, no
Should you ever leave me, baby
I won't be the same
Let's figure out what we have goin' babe
[Chorus]
'cause when you love someone
You just don't give up
And if you just tell the one
That you're always gonna be there
When you love someone

You just hope that one will stay
You'll never give up on
Never give up on that
One, one, one
Never give up on that
One, one, one
Never give up on that
One, one, one
Never give up on that
One, one, one
[Verse 2 - Ben Franklin]
Once chance, one shot
I swear that's all we got
Cause baby girl right here and now
I just don't wanna stop
But it's hard for me, baby
And I ain't gon' lie
There's a compromise with me
When we first were fine, oh
Gotta be the better man
Wanna let you know
I can never let you go
'cause if you ever leave me, baby
I won't be the same
Tell me what we gonna do?
[Chorus x2]
'cause when you love someone
You just don't give up
And if you just tell the one
That you're always gonna be there
When you love someone
You just hope that one will stay
You'll never give up on
Never give up on that
One, one, one
Never give up on that
One, one, one
Never give up on that
One, one, one
Never give up on that
One, one, one

He began his career as a songwriter, with his "Things You Do To Me" recorded by Sam Cooke and his "Needles and Pins," co-written with Jack Nitzsche, taken to hit status by The Searchers in 1964. Hired as a "gofer" by producer Phil Spector in the early 60s, Bono picked up the tools of the producing trade.
