Ophelia - THE DEAD SHIPS

Drawing comparisons to The Strokes, The Pixies, The Black Keys and Alabama Shakes, The Dead Ships are a soulful garage-rock trio with “hooks so poppy you'll test positive for opiates!” (Indie 103.1) The band have been called a “Bluesy Wrecking Ball” by
the LA Times and cited by local blogs (Buzzbands.LA, Grimy Goods) as a “top emerging LA band for 2014”. The first of 2 EP’s produced by Brendan Canning (Broken Social Scene), mixed by Alex Newport (Death Cab For Cutie/Bloc Party/At the Drive In) and mastered by Joe LaPorta (Tune Yards/Vampire Weekend) will be released in 2015.
