The name kcpresh is coined out from the duo, kingsley and precious.Kingsley Okonkwo hails from Anambara state while Precious John is an offspring of Akwa|Cross (Akwa-Ibom and Cross River). These two young men came into limelight when they won the much converted star quest prize in 2002.They were rewarded the most promising act in 2002,best collaboration, best music comedy video, best akwa cross artist 2006,best south-south artist (Niger-delta)in 2006 etc.As winners of the of the 2002 star quest, they were offered a 4 years music contract with an international reputed record label KENNIS MUSIC.
