Palaamaton - Aava Uusikuu

Aava Uusikuu (b. 1974) is a Finnish singer-songwriter and a voice improvisation artist. Aava's debut album Vedessä palaa – musiikkia Mirkka Rekolan runoihin (Water is Burning – music to the poems of Mirkka Rekola) was released in June 2011. This acoustic album has been recorded together with almost 30 musicians. There are for example string quartet, choir, piano, double bass, drums, percussions, clarinet, bass clarinet, accordion and Finnish traditional instrument kantele on this record.
