Palisades Lyrics

Just like glass wounds, Transparent and quiet
A little bit of shining glass to mark me
I see you there, Oh I don't stare
tease my angry ears, but don't make me
Be unfair break this glass
and make the picture worth my everything
Why take away, all we are,
So you can chase your invisible star
Throw everything to the wind
and watch all this quickly dissolve now
and watch all this quickly dissolve now
Just one more time, right here I'll wait
In the cold I stand
Oh, look at me, so pathetic a little dog
on a leash, I walk
God, I do, this forever, and with eternal commision

Why take away, all we are,
So you can chase your invisible star
Throw everything to the wind
and watch all this quickly dissolve now
Don't walk away, please just stay, this world we brought to life means everything.
Don't walk away, please just stay the bridges you have burned consume me
Don't walk away, please just stay this world that we've brought to life means everything
Don't walk away, please just stay the bridges you have burned consume me
Why take away, all we are,
So you can chase your invisible star
Throw everything to the wind
and watch all this quickly dissolve now
Why take away, all we are,
So you can chase your invisible star
Throw everything to the wind
and watch all this quickly dissolve now
and watch all this quickly dissolve now
and watch all this quickly dissolve now

The Angels of Light include many New York City collaborators, including Dana Schechter of Bee and Flower, Kid Congo Powers of The Cramps...
