Parallel Universe Lyrics

Deep inside of a parallel universe
It's getting harder and harder to tell what came first
Under water where thoughts can breathe easily
Far away you were made in the sea just like me
Christ I'm a sidewinder I'm a California King
I swear it's everywhere, oh it's everything
Staring straight up into the sky
Oh my my a solar system that fits in your eye microcosm
You could die but you never dead spider web
Take a look at the stars in your head fields of space kid
Christ I'm a sidewinder I'm a California King
I swear it's everywhere, oh it's everything
Christ I'm a sidewinder I'm a California King
I swear it's everywhere, oh it's everything
Psychic changes are born in your heart entertain
A nervous breakthrough that makes us the same
Bless your heart girl

Kill the pressure it's raining on salted cheeks
When you hear the beloved song, I am down with you
Christ I'm a sidewinder I'm a California King
I swear it's everywhere, oh it's everything
Christ I'm a sidewinder I'm a California King
I swear it's everywhere, oh it's everything

Two artists go by this name

1) Rachel Brown is an English flautist specializing in a baroque repertoire. She is an acknowledged authority on historical performance practice, who received her training at Manchester University and the Royal Northern College of Music with Trevor Wye. She studied baroque flute with Stephen Preston and Lisa Beznosiuk.

2) With powerful vocals and insightful lyrics, Rachel delicately blends the smoothness of Anita Baker, the sensitivity and consciousness of Oprah, and the soul of Aretha Franklin, as she explores the deepest emotions within our heart and soul.

Barry Towler of Soulchooz.com says that: “Love, Life And Relationships” really is what it says it is. Like a lot of other strong sets floating about at the moment, this set is as much about personal philosophy as it is musical direction. Something done with conviction holds more weight than something that has just been churned out for the sake of making a quick buck and exploiting the fickle market. Most R&B – mainstream stuff at any rate – is about SEX and not LOVE. Rachel, on “Learn To Love Me” not only gives us a great track but also offers some wise words of deep wisdom. This is a big song with a big message. The song is excellent and displays a maturity not often seen or heard today.

Signed to Urban Music Group in 2006, Rachel’s early notoriety came about because of the success of her debut single "Let’s Fall In Love Again," which reached #1 on the Billboard R&B Single Sales Chart in the spring of 2007. The single has generated airplay on over 30 radio stations in the U.S., which landed it on the Mediabase Top 100 R&B songs chart.

Rachel's debut CD delivers a powerful melodic and lyrical punch that has apparently struck a chord with the Adult Contemporary crowd. The disc also features the beautifully done wedding song "Promise Of Love," which introduces the amazing vocals of Reno Walker, the standout track "Spend The Night," the sultry "Do What You Do, " the perky "Weekend," and the sassy "Just A Girl." Rachel also breathes new life into the ‘70s classic "Don’t Ask My Neighbor," as the riveting "My Child" rounds out "Love, Life & Relationships."
