Parlons D-KO - D-KO

D-Ko are an act hailing from Brisbane, Australia with the curious nature of giving music press pause when it comes to defining their genre. Amusingly the band contains dance music press writers itself, and falls under the banners of an electronic live act with the broad sounds of progressive and tribal house, dub, breakbeat and drum and bass.

The line-up consists vocalist, bass player, drummer and guitarist/synth and samplist with an inter-related live rig that fuses accoustic and electronic elements in tandem with the above merger of styles. D-Ko are of course compared to or referenced against the usual culprits as far as Morcheeba or to a lesser degree Portishead goes, but in essence refutes those given the 'harder faster' performance style.
